Competition priority order and rink draws
Statement to clarify competition priority order and when a draw is made to create order of rink selection vs first come firest served with examples:
1) Competition priority order:

Bowls England national ties

GBC internal competition ties
-
Northumberland League ties
-
GBC friendlies
2) When a draw is made vs first come first served:
a) On designated date for national ties (example Monday nights for Singles) a draw will be made to determine the order of rink selection

Example: Four individuals are playing national ties and two are playing club ties, the four individuals playing national ties will have the first 4 choices and the two individuals playing club ties will have the 5th and 6th choice

On designated days if more than 6 drawn at home some individuals will be requested to re-arrange ties
b) On none designated days first come first served will apply however statement 1 reference competition priority order will also apply:

Example: Individual 1 is playing a club tie and has his/her name in the book first. Individual 2 is playing a national tie and has his/her name in the book second. Individual 3 is playing a club tie and has his/her name in the book third. Individual 4 is playing a national tie and has his/her name in the book fourth.
Individual 2 would have first choice.
Individual 4 would have second choice
Individual 1 would have third choice
Individual 3 would have fourth choice
3) On a league night or when GBC have a friendly booked in, the priority order would apply however obviously if say 4 rinks are booked for the league or friendly only 2 rinks can be booked for ties
a) Example: It's a Tuesday night and GBC have a Knight Cup game with 4 rinks booked and 2 individuals have national ties. The 2 individuals would have first and second choice on a first come first served basis and the Knight Cup team would take the remaining 4 rinks. However, the individual's ties must be ready to start at 6:30pm as per the league game or earlier.
b) Example: It s a Tuesday night and GBC have a Knight Cup game with 4 rinks booked and 1 individual has a national tie and 1 individual has a club tie. The individual with a national tie would get first choice, the individual with the club ties would get second choice and the Knight Cup team would get the 4 remaining rinks. However, the individual's ties must be ready to start at 6:30pm as per the league game or earlier.
